More Bond Girl Coaching Cards, at your Service!

Hey grrrls!

Have you been downloading our Bond Girl Coaching Cards? Here is a link to the next set in the series. We plan to ultimately have a boxed set of all the cards for sale. But these are free for you to print out (instructions are on the printout). I’m very excited by these! They are my gift to you.

NOW, if the first couple look familiar, it’s because the last time I posted these, I wound up posting them without a new “Livin’ La Vida Bond Girl” card. This may all sound confusing, but this should get us back on track.  Let me know what you think!  Leave a Comment – I love hearing from you!

Podcast 9: Earth Day – It Can Be Easy, Bein’ Green

This podcast has some tricks to help you save Energy which is really what Earth Day is all about. These include green tips for around the house that are easy to implement. The beginning of the podcast also introduces you to a real fishing family in Sonoma County that are being devastated by the impacts of our current global situation.

The video podcast that I refer to in this podcast is The Story Of Stuff by Annie Leonard. You can go back and find where I blogged about it a few weeks ago, or just click the link here. It’s a bit long, but it definitely explains the whole manufacturing process and Planned Obsolescence — I think this would be great to show kids.

Podcast Alley… Here We Come

So, today I am sitting in very un-Bond-Girl-ish fashion with Stuff covering the dining room table. Wow! It’s Stuff I want to podcast about, Stuff I need to read for my law practice, Stuff that I have just been making little piles of around the house. (My poor James.)

One of the thangs I had to do was registered my podcast on Podcast Alley. Now, I have to remember to go have folks vote on it. (I’m lucky I remember to put in my email address and Listener Call-in Line… let’s see how THIS goes!) The only issue I have is that there really isn’t a great Heading for my podcast. I stuck it under Health, but that’s not really right. Society? Naw… Kids and Family? Um, no… Well, if you have any ideas and are a Podcast Alley person, Comment and let me know!

So, the instructions say “Post this code on your blog, and presto chango all magic will happen.” Well, maybe not in those exact words. But the following is the code they gave me to paste here, so here we go:

My Podcast Alley feed! {pca-fc383477edaec478c87fac3145b563b3}

Was it good for you?

(Not sure what all the letters are after the link above, but I posted EXACTLY what they gave me — so let’s see if Magic Happens now)

Woman Crashes Her Car, Saves Her Morning Coffee

A 22-year old woman from Oakland, California landed in the waters of the Oakland Estuary after losing control of her car this past Thursday, per the Associated Press, but she never lost her grip on her morning coffee. She was apparently reaching for her cell phone around 6 a.m. when the car sped out of control and became lodged under a home on stilts on the water.

Car…sped…lodged…under a home…HELLO!

HOWEVER…

She got out of the car uninjured and holding her coffee cup.

Do I hear the Bond Theme playing gently in the background????

Send Out Cards — additional information

Hey Ya’ll:

I am having more and more fun with Send Out Cards. This is the best business builder I think I have ever had.

I have set it up so that you can have a free gift account if you sign into:

www.sendoutcards.com/fempowerment

When you click through on the banner, you need to put in a User Name and a Password. I will give it to you if you write to me at DoubleOhSandy[at]yahoo[dot]com. Yes, what this means is that I am going to pay for you to send out a few cards, to see how it works.

I can also walk you through the templates, so you understand how it works. Wow, I’m finding something new every day!

More in a bit — I’m uploading photos that I took during the View From The Bay shoot, and sending them with little funny “taglines” to the camera man, Lisa Quinn, and the like. Did I say I was having fun???

View From The Bay (ABC) interview—we had a BLAST!

Oh my goodness. Yesterday was the best day. I was on View From The Bay—I tried to upload the link for their viewer here, but I can’t get it to take… so here is the link to the show. (I am still going to list it under “Podcasts” — and maybe my sainted James can figure out how to actually make it post here so you won’t have to “go get it.”)

Make sure to watch both halves of the interview. They gave me 4 minutes, and then decided to give us 4 more after the commercial! We were having so much fun. This is my parents’ house, and a friend had come over to watch it Live with my mom. She said my mom basically freaked out when suddenly we were down in her closet! She said that she “Hadn’t had time to clean it” (As if!)

When you follow the link, you can see lots of tips that I gave them that I could talk about. If you’ve read my book, you know there are about 50 pages of tips! They picked some of them for me to show on the air, and have others posted on their website.

If, after you read this, you could put a comment on their website, I would sure appreciate it! I’d love to get invited back!

The First 2008 fEmpowerment Coaching Teleseminar

I have decided to post my first 2008 fEmpowerment Accountability Teleseminar, since many of you have been curious about what having me as your coach might be like. Cindi Dawson acted as my “Assistant Coach” on the teleseminar, and we had as much fun as we do in our coaching calls!

BONUS INTERVIEW PODCAST: Eve Abbott, the Organizer Extraordinaire

This “Coffee Chat” podcast is with Eve Abbott of Organizer-Extraordinaire.com. She has graciously offered that if you visit her website and purchase her book, tell her that you found out about her here, and she will send you an autographed book and another free goodie! (NOTE: I don’t get any “kickbacks” from any of these interviews—these really are my experts, and I want to share them with you… no strings attached!)

I mentioned (in this Coffee Chat and I believe my Chat with Scott Smith) the book by Oprah’s Organizer, Peter Walsh. The actual title of that book is Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat? Like Eve, Peter Walsh states that clutter is basically symptomatic of an unresolved issue in your life. I saw him on a recent episode of the Oprah show, and his specific quote was that “eating more and buying more is an attempt to fill the need for something more. Until you get those underlying issues dealt with, all the rest is a waste of time.”

I hope you enjoy this podcast, and please let me know if there are other experts you might like to hear interviewed on our Coffee Chats.

And, yes… next podcast will be a “regular” one—I promise! I’ve been working on the V.I.P. Podcasts and having a great time with them… but Regular Podcast 9 is on its way soon.
